“Childbloom is a great program and I wouldn’t dream of having my daughter learn another way.” G. Matthias “We are very grateful we found the Childbloom Guitar Program. It is wonderful the way you have made learning music understandable even for young children.” S. Wolfe About the Program Director Matt Cook has been with the Music Institute since November 2008, when he revolutionized the guitar program with his incredible technical skills and his friendly, positive teaching style. He began playing guitar at the age of fourteen, and has since performed across the country, including New York City’s Knitting Factory and Lexington’s Norton Center. Since moving to Lexington, he has studied under Andrew Leonard at the University of Kentucky, performing frequently in masterclasses with such experts as Austin Morehead. He loves to pass on the excitement he has found in guitar with his students. When he discovered the Childbloom program, he knew that he had found a unique approach to teaching groups of elementary school-aged aspiring guitarists. He is also available for individual lessons, for those students who are ready to strike out on their own. Garage Band Program
