Areas of Study

• Brass: Trumpet and Trombone

• Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, and Saxophone

• Strings: Violin, Viola, Fiddle, and Cello; both traditional and Suzuki techniques

• Guitar: Acoustic, Electric, and Bass

• Music Composition and Theory

• Piano and Organ: both traditional and Suzuki techniques

• Percussion: classical or popular styles

• Voice: classical, musical theatre, or popular styles (ages ten and up)

• Early Childhood Music classes for children ages newborn to six years

• Music Therapy for individuals or groups

Days and times will be arranged on an individual basis directly with the instructor.

Special festivals and contests are available at the teachers' discretion, and may require a separate entrance fee. 

Fees are as follows:

For new students, there is a registration fee of $25 that includes start-up materials

Tuition is due at the beginning of each month.

The Music Institute provides equitable access to music instruction for citizens of Central Kentucky. Need-based scholarships are available. You may download a scholarship application here.  Please call for information regarding financial assistance or with questions about payment plans.
