Private Music Lessons in Lexington

Private lessons are available for students of all ages and levels on most instruments, including voice. Our teachers are highly trained, experienced musicians, most with graduate degrees in their field of expertise. Each lesson is designed to fit the needs of the student that will help refine their technical and musical skills for a rewarding experience. In addition to weekly private lessons there are masterclasses and recitals each semester, along with festivals and competitions, if approved by the teacher, that students can participate in for additional performance opportunities.

Areas of Study

• Brass: Trumpet and Trombone & French Horn
• Woodwinds: Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, and Saxophone
• Strings: Violin, Viola, Fiddle, and Cello in both traditional and Suzuki methods
• Guitar: Acoustic, Electric, and Bass in all styles
• Music Composition and Theory
• Piano and Organ in traditional and Suzuki methods
• Percussion: classical or popular styles
• Voice in classical, musical theatre, or popular styles (ages ten and up)

Days and times will be arranged on an individual basis directly with the instructor. Special festivals and contests may require a separate entrance fee. Please contact the office to register. Tuition is due at the beginning of each month. A $25.00 registration fee is applied per semester. Please download and read The Music Institute Handbook prior to registering. You may print a Spring Registration Form and mail or fax it into the office.
